What We Investigate

We pair your functional bloodwork and targeted lab testing with your IVF cycle data, medication response history, and a comprehensive intake assessment to find patterns across all ten fertility systems.

Stress and HPA Axis Regulation

Chronic stress dysregulates cortisol, disrupts the HPA axis, and suppresses reproductive hormone signaling at every level.

Metabolic Inflammation and Insulin Signaling

Insulin resistance and low-grade systemic inflammation directly impair egg quality, ovarian function, and embryo development.

Immune Regulation and Autoimmune Activity

Immune dysregulation can impair implantation, trigger early pregnancy loss, and create an environment hostile to embryo survival.

Oxidative Stress and Antioxidant Capacity

Oxidative stress damages DNA in both eggs and sperm and accelerates cellular aging.

Mitochondrial Function and Cellular Energy

Eggs are the most mitochondria-dense cells in the human body. Mitochondrial dysfunction is one of the primary drivers of poor egg quality.

Thyroid Function and Autoimmunity

Even subclinical thyroid dysfunction and elevated thyroid antibodies can significantly affect ovulation, implantation, and early pregnancy outcomes.

Hormone Bioavailability and Signaling

It is not only about what your body produces but how effectively those hormones are transported, received, and used.

Coagulation and Thrombophilia Risk

Undiagnosed clotting tendencies can impair blood flow to the uterus, affect implantation, and contribute to recurrent pregnancy loss.

One Carbon Metabolism and Methylation

Methylation drives DNA repair, gene expression, and detoxification. This system shapes hormonal balance, folate cycling, and cellular health.

Micronutrient Status and Absorption

Deficiencies in key nutrients including CoQ10, vitamin D, iron, zinc, and B vitamins have direct, documented impacts on egg quality.

You Have Done Everything Right. And You Still Do Not Have Answers.

OVAHaul is for women who are done accepting unexplained as a diagnosis.

Currently in IVF

You have had retrievals, transfers, or failed cycles and need to understand what is limiting your outcomes before cycling again.

Preparing for IVF

You have a retrieval coming up and want to go in with the best possible egg quality.

TTC Naturally

You have been trying without success and suspect something systemic is at play.

Recurrent Pregnancy Loss

You can get pregnant but cannot stay pregnant.

Low AMH or Diminished Ovarian Reserve

You have been told your reserve is low. While egg count is not fully modifiable, egg quality is.

Unexplained Infertility

Unexplained is not a diagnosis. It means standard testing did not find it.

From Data to Direction in Four Steps

A clear, systematic process that turns your biology into an actionable fertility plan.

1

The Intake Investigation

We review your full history, labs, cycles, lifestyle, symptoms, and prior treatment to identify patterns and gaps.

2

Targeted Testing

We identify and guide you through the specific functional lab panels that reveal your fertility system status.

3

Results Interpretation

Your results are interpreted through a systems based approach, not just checked against reference ranges.

4

Your Personalized Plan

You receive a sequenced, evidence-based protocol covering nutrition, supplementation, lifestyle, and a clear path to talk with your doctor and team.

Choose Your Path

Whether you are beginning your investigation or ready for a full-system deep dive, there is an OVAHaul program for where you are right now.

Lindsay Chu
Founder, OVAHaul
Embryologist

Science from Inside the Lab. Built from Personal Experience.

I am a Clinical Embryologist and Fertility Optimization Specialist with a Master’s degree in Reproductive Clinical Science from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where my graduate research focused on modifiable biologic factors that influence IVF outcomes.

But my path to this work is also personal. After a miscarriage, I was diagnosed with PCOS and told to go on birth control with no guidance and no testing.

That moment changed everything for me. I went deep into the research and today I have a thriving three-year-old who is living proof that this work matters.

OVAHaul was built from that conviction. My goal is to give you clarity, strategy, and genuine confidence.
